Fees and Rebates
Different psychological services are billed at different rates. Medicare rebates of $141.85 are available for therapy sessions with an appropriate referral and mental health care plan and private health fund rebates may be applicable. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to book all initial appointments and assessments.
We offer a reduced rate for clients on certain means-tested Centrelink benefits (i.e. Aged Pension, Disability Support Pension, Carer Payment, and Job Seeker Payment). Supporting documentation (e.g. Centrelink card/statement) must be provided when booking the initial consultation or assessment or we reserve the right to charge the full rate.
Clinical Psychology Rates
A therapy session will usually last 50 minutes.
- Therapy with a Clinical Psychologist is $250 per session (or $108.15 after Medicare rebate).
- A reduced rate of $200 per session (or $58.15 after Medicare rebate) for clients on certain means-tested Centrelink benefits is available.
Clinical Neuropsychology Rates
• The cost of a neuropsychological assessment depends on many factors and the fee will be provided to you after your initial enquiry. However, as a guide, the cost of a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment (including interview, 3-4 hours assessment, report, feedback, and liaising with family/other health professionals) begins at $2,500.
• Neuropsychological assessments for NDIS plan and self-managed clients will require a Service Agreement and allow up to 16 hours of service.
• ADHD screening assessments for adults (18+) via telehealth or face-to-face: 1-2 hours assessment and clinical interview, brief cognitive testing, self and observer rating scales, a formal report, and feedback costs $880.
• ADHD assessments for children (aged 7+) and adolescents (aged <18) include assessment of intellectual functioning. It involves 3 hours for clinical interview and cognitive testing, rating scales, a formal report, and feedback, and costs $1500.
• Memory rehabilitation for individually tailored treatment is $250 per session and requires up to 8 sessions (including 6 treatment sessions, 2 brief assessments of memory before and after treatment, and a brief summary report).
